REBUILDING TOGETHER PENINSULA: Refurbish East Palo Alto Charter School
Saturday April 28th
Each year on the last Saturday in April, National Rebuilding Day engages the largest nationwide group of volunteers in a concerted effort to complete repairs on homes, nonprofit facilities and community spaces to bring immediate, large-scale impact to communities across America. This year SLOBs will partner with NCL Orchard Valley and Palo Alto Kiwanis Club to help refurbish East Palo Alto Charter School (EPACS), a leading K-12 public charter school dedicated to preparing students for success in college and beyond.
We will be assisting in improving outdoor areas and classrooms at the school. Some responsibilities include: sanding and painting outdoor picnic benches, installing new blinds, and painting play areas on the concrete. Upon signing up, you will receive an email notification that includes a digital copy of the waiver and medical treatment authorization form (for volunteers under age 18). Please sign the waiver in advance and bring to registration on the day of the event. Minors under age 18 must have a guardian sign the volunteer waiver as well as the medical treatment authorization form.
